Aim

The Chartered Institute of Environmental Health course is designed to give the student an understanding of risk assessing and how to carry out a risk assessment and complete the required documentation..

Objectives

On completion the student will be able to:

  • Understand the principles of risk assessing

  • Be able to use the risk rating formula

  • Have the knowledge of the Health and Safety at Work Act and the Management Regulations

  • Be able to carry out a risk assessment and complete the required documentation

  • Have the ability to recommend control measures

  • Be able to recommend further training and development needs

The CIEH certificate in Risk Assessment Principles and Practice is awarded on passing the course.
